"Dynamically priced digital knowledge exchange" A very new seller-driven site that auctions "downloadable items of knowledge", term papers, research reports, programming info, first hand experience, or any information sellers can package. Potential buyers can also post a question, without registering, to stimulate someone to put info up for bids. Sellers upload the "knowledge product" to the server and set a price. The site runs patented software that tracks demand and notches the price up or down. The seller can set the frequency and increment of the price changes. Their search engine looks up categories, tells you prices and bidders, and shows you summaries of the content. Items are resellable, so only the end buyer can download them. Buyers place their credit card number on file so Knexa can charge for the final purchase.
I lurked the sites to make this list. Email me to pndorra@mail.ru about your experiences with them. Thanks!23 Sep 2000 |
